About the Department
The Department of (B Com IT) was established in the academic year 2025-26 with the primary objective of equipping students with a strong foundation in Commerce and Information Technology. This programme is designed to provide students with essential knowledge of commerce while integrating IT skills that are highly relevant in today’s digital economy. The core papers of this programme inculcate accounting and financial management knowledge, while simultaneously offering exposure to computer applications, business software, data management, and emerging IT tools. The course also nurtures entrepreneurial and managerial skills, empowering students to establish start-ups or contribute effectively to corporate environments. The Department also actively engages in academic enrichment programmes, industry interactions, student-care initiatives, and extension activities, ensuring holistic development and preparing graduates to excel in both commerce and IT-driven career paths.

The Graduates of Commerce with computer application would be
PEO1:Occuping a decent position in Banking, Finance and Outsourcing industries.
PEO2: Become successful entrepreneurs.
PEO3: Contribute to the community development and environmental protection.
Programme Outcomes (PO)
After completion of three years of study, our B.Com CA Graduates will be able to :
PO1: Exhibit proficiency in oral and written communication.
PO2: Prove their knowledge of accounting, business, taxation and financial management.
PO3: Exhibit their Technical Skills (such as Word processing, Spread sheet, Visualbasic,gambas
3, Accounting Package) in Auditing and Business Process Services by updating their
Knowledge with the upcoming new techniques.
PO4: Work on multidisciplinary tasks and will be aware of the new and emerging disciplines.
PO5: Prepare to take up any challenging task.
PO6: Apply technical skills in Analyzing, synthesizing and evaluating information to reach a answer or conclusion for complex business problems.
