
The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning was established in the academic year 2024–25 with a vision to nurture the next generation of technology innovators and problem-solvers. The Department is equipped with state-of-the-art computer laboratories, high-end computational tools, and seamless internet connectivity, creating an environment conducive to advanced learning, innovation, and research. The Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (B.Sc. AI & ML) is a six-semester programme designed to meet the growing global demand for professionals in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and emerging intelligent technologies. The curriculum is thoughtfully structured to provide students with strong foundations in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Neural Networks, Cloud Computing, and AI Programming. Learning is facilitated through a unique blend of lectures, tutorials, hands-on laboratory training, industry-driven projects, and research-based activities, enabling students to transform theoretical knowledge into practical expertise.
To produce highly qualified, ethical and motivated graduates with strong knowledge in fundamental concepts of core computer science, methodical problem solving skills in current information and communication technologies, amplified potential suitable for ever-changing and challenging global work environment. PEO4: Graduates will pursue higher education and/or engage themselves in continuous professional development to meet global standards adapt to the changing environment due to automation.
