Women bear almost all responsibility for meeting basic needs of the family, yet are systematically denied the resources, information and freedom of action they need to fulfill this responsibility. Women in India now participate in all activities such as education, politics, media, art and culture, service sectors, science and technology, etc.

WEC is about empowering women to achieve their highest potential economically and socially to improve the quality of lives in their environment. WEC organize women empowerment programmes   and implementation to enable women to contribute towards fighting poverty and hunger.
