Like the knowledge of Computers, it is now mandatory that a knowledge of Spoken English, that is, the ability to communicate well, has become the by word for success. It is taken seriously, as an important tool, not only in widening horizons but also in climbing up the ladder. Spoken English classes are conducted in the campus twice a week. The objective of the Spoken English classes is primarily to remove the fear of the Tamil speaking majority, developing in them the ability to understand and reciprocate in English.
